This is a new piece - quite large 40"x60", a figure in an abstracted setting. I took the photo in my studio and the top of the painting was not properly lit - those squares are really much paler.

Worked further on this piece - it needs to dry a few days, then will get some ochre glazing.

Glazed layers
Today I worked on some glazed layers to mute the colours of the two pieces that are almost finished. Here is how they look now. The image with the pole is a bit too dark on top on the computer screen, in real life it isn't as dark.

Progress on Self Portrait
I have been working further on the Self Portrait. Hopefully the more difficult parts of the body are now done. Surprisingly I found the elbow more of a challange to do than the hand.

Self portrait - beginnings
