I am hosting a week long intensive figure drawing workshop this week, Aug 8-12 2011 so finally re-activated this blog and posted some images!

Finally back to drawing

It was lovely to be back with my friends and drawing again today. I really felt out of practice and seemed to be working in slow motion. I do hope to be painting - finally - in the week ahead.

We enjoyed our session with Karin yesterday. We're all quite rusty, drawing only every second week through the summer, that's why the posts here are so few and far between.

Wonderful to observe bones so clearly, I had a lot of fun drawing Harry today.

I enjoyed working with Jillanne and tried some different approaches.

Here I tried something new - drawing a contour line drawing with the ink pen, and then repeating the exercise with pencil and shading.
